Job Description:
We are looking for an engineering with grinding and camshaft production.
The Camshaft Engineer is in charge of developing and writing task analysis, cost analysis and proposals for implementation of new processes or improvements to existing processes.
Selecting or designing parts and tooling to meet customer specifications and expectations.
Working closely with line personnel to ensure newly developed parts and tooling are correctly installed and functioning properly.
Conferring with established personnel to implement standard operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.
The Camshaft Engineer works in developing, plans and models alternate processing methods to test feasibility of new applications of system components, and recommends implementation of improved procedures, process improvements and/or set-up reduction techniques. Hands on Grinding experience is critical.
At least 2 years years related experience in camshaft production and metal grinding.
Camshaft Engineer Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Oversee other employees within department as assigned by Production Management and/or defined by department organization. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of own activities. Carries out own responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training and coaching other employees, addressing technical concerns of others, and resolving problems
Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering or related from four-year college or university.
