4 South is a 32-bed Med-Surg unit that provides exceptional care to our patients everyday. We are a fast paced unit that provides high quality care to a diverse group of patients. Our team consists of a Team Leader, RNs, LPNs, CNAs and HUCs. Our RNs are expected to assess, provide teaching on new medications and newly diagnosed medical problems such as heart failure and new onset diabetes. We manage patients with pulmonary, GI, renal, stroke, hospice, cardiac with and without telemetries. Our RNs are expected to utilize the nursing process, which includes: assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation. Knowledgeable of performance improvement techniques/process and able to participate in PI activities.
