Job Description Production Scheduler ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
A non-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Will generate the production schedule each week for all 3 production lines - Will run reports in PeopleSoft, and work with Customer Service to determine orders needed to be produced each week - Will monitor and work with Customer Service to properly handle orders which are on credit/production hold - Will work with Purchasing to ensure materials needed to meet the production schedule are on site & communicate any concerns to Customer Service and the Plant Manager - Will work with Production to ensure that any staffing issues are taking into account when developing the production schedule - Will perform a production balance each morning ensuring what was scheduled was produced and in the correct amounts - Will report any variances on production balance or delays in meeting the production schedule to Customer Service, Shipping, and the Plant Manager each day - Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate effectively (written and oral) - Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (with an emphasis on Excel) EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required - Previous scheduling experience in a manufacturing facility preferred Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$35,000.
