Graduation Analyst 1 Campus Location:
Morristown Campus (Employees are assigned to a home location but may occasionally or regularly be required to work at other WSCC locations.
) Job Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to assist the Coordinator of Graduation Analysis with conducting degree audits to determine if students are ready to graduate.
Collects and records cap and gown information to assists with ordering graduation apparel.
Processes course substitutions, waivers, and unofficial and official transcripts.
Drops classes for student and withdraws students from the college.
Scans and indexes student information in BDMS scanning system.
Essential Job Functions:
Reviews and analyzes degree evaluations and audits to determine if students have meet academic and non-academic requirements to graduate.
Acts as the reserve Records Specialist for processing transcripts for current and past students.
Scans and indexes student documents in electronic folders.
Assists students with inquiries, including adding and withdrawing classes in order to meet graduation requirements.
Processes course substitutions and waivers for students.
Assists with collecting and recording cap and gown information for graduation and inventory management.
Serves as back-up to processing transcript requests.
Helps to plan and organize the student graduation check in process.
May perform other duties as required.
Required
Qualifications:
An associate's degree in Business or a highly related field of study One to two years of career experience in a related position Strong base knowledge of general core requirements, degree evaluations, testing, remedial classes, and the entire registration process Ability to use standard office equipment such as a computer, scanner, fax machine, phone, printer, or copy machine Preferred

Leadership & Supervisory:
The incumbent has no authority or responsibility for others, project direction, and/or program administration.
The position operates with moderate supervision, and one's immediate supervisor is available for consultation as needed.
Familiar work is expected to be performed with light supervision, with periodic checks on progress and conformance with expectations.
Working conditions:
Working conditions in the office are clean and well-lit; limited interruptions and moderate but constant noise level.
Physical Demands:
(including requirements for travel or working nights/weekends/holidays) Sits at computer for intermittent periods of time and uses several different software applications, creating the possibility of neck, back, and eye strain.
Moves about office to retrieve documents from printer, taking documents to mail room, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
